sandee1.jpg (111099 bytes)  sandee2.jpg (117696 bytes) Sandee Filo of Steinig-Tal Kennels (STK), Campbellsport, Wisconsin is working with Qai in September, 1999.  Qai was acquired by STK from a police K-9 trainer and breeder in Lawrence, Michigan, Schafer Lake Kennels.  Here Sandee is conducting training with an exposed bite sleeve.
chad1.jpg (100298 bytes)  chad2.jpg (80217 bytes) Qai is shown working with a decoy at STK.  Here he is in a "Bark & Hold" with the decoy wearing an exposed sleeve and apron.  The police K-9 and handler train using reasonable force and recalling the K-9 back to the handler.
qaiuscg1.jpg (84221 bytes)  qaiuscg2.jpg (52094 bytes) In May, 2001 while working toward canine certification, Qai and his handler trained at the United States Coast Guard Station in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  Here Qai is shown riding a large USCG raft to the light house where a decoy is awaiting.

The handler/officer (middle photo) is about to escort the compliant Larry Filo (criminal) toward a police vehicle as Qai watches intently. Next, Qai is pictured taking a full bite of the exposed sleeve making a good apprehension after Larry attempted to flee the officer.
